Promoting Road Pedestrian Safety Among Key Stage 2 – 4: Comprehensive Road Safety Sessions for Schools and Community Groups
At S.A.M.E Academy, we recognise the unique challenges and risks facing young people aged 6 -15 when it comes to road safety. With an increase in smartphone and social media usage among this age group, it is more important than ever to educate and inform young people about distractions and the importance of road safety and pedestrian awareness.
Our interactive workshops and presentations are designed to address this age group’s needs and help them develop the right mindset and attitudes regarding pedestrian safety. We focus on helping young pedestrians understand the main causes of pedestrian collisions and how to deal with distractions while travelling.
For key stage 4 learners, our workshop is designed to promote youth road safety, helping young people think about the importance of staying safe when travelling on foot as well as being a young passenger.
