Our team of experienced facilitators are here to help navigate the process of learning to drive and to provide the knowledge and skills needed to become a safe and responsible driver.
At S.A.M.E Academy, we believe that education is key to preventing accidents and injuries on the roads. We use a variety of teaching methods, including discussion, activity, and video, to cover a range of topics that are relevant to new and young drivers. These topics may include peer pressure, speeding, and the dangers of drink and drug driving, and are designed to help your students understand the risks and responsibilities of driving.
Our young driver education workshop provides students with the chance to ask questions, discuss driving-related experiences and worries, and learn more about road safety. Our Introduction to Driving Programme
We understand that learning to drive and getting a full license can be a daunting task, which is why we have developed comprehensive driver education workshops to help navigate the process. Our introduction to driving sessions, which can be delivered in person or remotely, cover five main areas that are essential for new and young drivers:
1. Learning to Drive: We use a variety of teaching methods, including discussion, activity, and video, to cover a range of topics that are relevant to new and young drivers. How do you find you first driving instructor? Who is the best person for you? How do you navigate the theory test? How do I get through the process smootly?
2. Buying & Owning a Car / Moped: Whether your group is looking to buy their first car or moped, or simply looking to upgrade a current vehicle, we can help make informed decisions. We’ll cover topics such as budgeting, financing, and the different types of vehicles that are available, as well as the pros and cons of each.
3. Car Insurance: Car insurance is an essential part of owning and driving a vehicle, but it can also be confusing. We’ll help your students understand the different types of car insurance available, how to choose the right policy for their needs, and how to get the best deal.
4. Maintenance: Proper maintenance is essential for keeping a vehicle running smoothly and safely. We’ll teach the basics of car maintenance, including how to check oil and tire pressure, how to change a tire, and how to identify and fix common problems.
5. The Law & Rules: Knowing the rules of the road is essential for any driver, and we’ll cover everything to know to stay safe and legal on the roads. We’ll discuss topics such as traffic laws, road signs, and safe driving practices.
By covering these five main areas, our sessions provide essential road safety training for young drivers so your students can become safe and responsible drivers.
